Check Us Out

.
Pottery Sampler :

If you’re “on the fence” about taking a pottery course,  you can try out our Pottery Sampler, where you can join others like youself in a “one day” studio class. We offer it on a Sunday afternoon each Spring. In 2015, it occurred on May 17th .  This way, you can find out what pottery is all about without having to commit to a whole term. During the sampler, you’ll be introduced to the studio and briefed on how to use our equipment. Then, you’ll dive-in for some hands-on time with the potter’s wheel and a lump of clay.  We provide the tools you need, you just show up with an open mind and ready to play dirty !   Check out the CAW website for details on how to register.

2014 CAW Open House :

On February 24th, CAW opened its doors for everyone in the community to visit, to check out our facilities, meet potters working here, participate in hands-on demos, watch pottery being made, take a tour, get an explanation of pottery making, and get more detail on classes available. Pictured below is a young visitor trying out the potter’s wheel for the first time. We’ll be doing it again next year, watch for announcements in the local media !

Greetings from Idaho! I’m bored to death at work so I decided to check out your blog on my iphone during lunch break. I enjoy the information you present here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home. I’m surprised at how fast your blog loaded on my mobile .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyhow, superb site!
