Introduction

The chapters in this handbook give an overview of how the studio functions, equipment operation, and pottery etiquette for everyone who works here. It’s really necessary to become familiar with this information. There’s a full schedule of activities and nearly 100 students coming here each term, so everyone needs to cooperate and participate in keeping a clean, positive, communal learning environment.

Hopefully, becoming familiar with this handbook will help you avoid surprises, misunderstandings, and stay safe while enjoying the pottery !
